Background

Now based in Melbourne, Australia, Rainbow started in the creative practice of Body Art in 1990 while living on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. Since then her experiences and skills have grown to include not only body painting but also henna and ink tattoos. Over the years Rainbow has become internationally known and respected in the world of Body Art.

As Founder of the Eumundi Body Art Carnival in Queensland in 2007 and Founding Director of the Melbourne Body Art Competition since 2009, including participating as invited judge for competition in New Zealand (2009 & 2010) and on the Gold Coast (2010), Rainbow's ongoing committment to this international art practice is unending.

Other Experiences

Over the years Rainbow has performed in exhibition showing her skills and experience in Body Art throughout the world. She has shown in New Zealand, Finland, Sweden, in the US at the USA Face and Body Art Convention, the Face Body Art Convention in Bristol, UK, Finland, Sweden, as well as showing around Australia in Brisbane, Noosa, Adelaide, and Melbourne and conducted workshops in a number of those countries.

Rainbow has been engaged to perform her skills at premiere events such as the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Sydney Mardi Gras, and for major corporations such as the Crown Casino in Melbourne (Grand Prix and Winter Wonderland), BBC Scotland, and the Australia Zoo (Bindi's Birthday), etc.
